Medzy — A Medicine Delivery App Ecosystem

A full medicine-delivery ecosystem for Medzy: customer app, pharmacy partner app, delivery app and an operations panel, designed to make getting medicines as dependable as it needs to be.

When someone orders medicine they are rarely doing it for fun. Medzy needed an ecosystem that makes that moment calm and certain: find the medicine, upload a prescription if required, know when it will arrive, and get it from a licensed pharmacy. Vedspace designed and built the whole system — customer app, pharmacy app, rider app and the operations panel behind them — and took it to launch in sixteen weeks.

01

The challenge

Medicine delivery is a logistics product with a compliance problem on top. Prescriptions have to be captured and checked. Stock lives at partner pharmacies, not a warehouse. Riders need routing and proof of delivery, and customers need honest ETAs. Four different users, four different apps, one order that has to move through all of them without anyone losing track of it.

02

Our approach

We modelled the order lifecycle first — every state from cart to delivered, including the exceptions: prescription rejected, item out of stock, rider reassigned — and every app was built against that single model. The customer app was designed for reassurance: clear status, real ETAs, easy reorder. The pharmacy app was designed for speed at the counter. The rider app was built for one-handed use and flaky networks. The ops panel gives the Medzy team the whole picture and the levers to fix problems live. Releases went out in stages, each one usable end to end.

03

Where it stands

Medzy launched with the complete ecosystem working as one — orders flowing from customer to pharmacy to rider to door, with prescriptions handled properly and operations visible in real time. Order volumes and delivery times are the client’s figures to publish.
