Selected Product Engineering Work

Explore approved Vedspace case studies and product work, including the challenge, engineering approach and verified result behind each engagement.

This page holds published case studies. It is deliberately limited to work that has been approved for publication, which means it will not show everything the team has done. What follows explains what a useful case study should contain and how to evaluate an engineering partner when the public record is necessarily partial.

HOW WE THINK ABOUT IT

What shapes the work in this area.

01

What a case study should actually tell you

A useful case study states the business problem before it states the solution, describes the constraints that shaped the approach and is specific about what was decided and why. It should also be honest about what was traded away, because every project trades something. Case studies that lead with technology names and finish with an unattributed percentage tell you very little; the interesting content is the reasoning. Where we publish results, we publish what has been verified and agreed with the client rather than what would read best.

02

Why published work is limited

Much software work sits inside organisations that have good reasons not to advertise it, particularly internal systems, regulated environments and products still finding their position. A short public list is normal in this field and is not a proxy for experience. It does mean that the public record alone is a weak basis for a decision, which is why we would rather demonstrate how we think about a problem than ask you to infer it from a portfolio.

03

A more reliable way to evaluate us

Bring a real problem to a first conversation and watch what happens to it. A team worth hiring will ask what makes it hard, identify a constraint you had not raised, and describe an approach specific enough that you could disagree with it. You can also ask for a reference conversation, or start with a small, well-defined piece of work and judge the delivery directly. Both tell you more than a page of published logos.

NEXT CONVERSATION

Bring us the business objective, not a predetermined solution.

A short project brief helps us understand the objective before we speak.
