Swati Vijaivargie is a designer clothing label that needed to sell online without building a commerce platform from scratch. Vedspace built the storefront on Shopify and supported the social advertising and promotional email work around it.
For a designer label, the interesting problem is presentation and merchandising, not payment infrastructure. Building bespoke commerce would have spent the budget on solved problems, so the store was built on Shopify, where checkout, inventory and payments are handled and the effort goes into how the collection is presented.
Clothing sells on imagery, so the storefront was built around large product photography with the page weight kept under control, since heavy image pages are slow exactly where customers browse. Collection structure, product organisation and the path from browsing to checkout were arranged to suit how someone actually shops a designer range.
Vedspace also supported social media advertising and promotional emailers for the store. Treating the storefront, the ads that bring people to it and the emails that bring them back as one system is what makes the spend work; run separately, each tends to undo the other.
