What makes a brief useful
The most valuable things you can tell us are the business objective, who will use the product, what already exists and what constrains the project. Constraints are particularly useful: a deadline tied to a real event, a budget ceiling, a system that cannot be replaced, a compliance requirement. You do not need a specification or a feature list, and a well-described problem is easier to respond to usefully than a list of screens. If you are unsure whether something is relevant, include it; ruling things out is quick, discovering them late is not.
